Justin Allen - Founder - Director - Editor

A Los Angeles native, Justin Allen has spent over two decades immersed in film and television. He began his career in front of the camera as a commercial actor, selling products you didn’t know you needed, before making the transition behind the camera. His early industry experience included four seasons on the production staff of Mad Men, working alongside the likes of Don Draper and Roger Sterling.

After Mad Men, Justin joined Middle Man Productions, actor Zachary Levi’s company, where he developed film and television projects under an overall deal with Universal Television. During this time, he produced critically acclaimed films including Winter Light, an Oscar contender, and Ultrasound, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2019, Justin founded Broad St Media, where he has directed and produced more than 40 commercials for brands such as Best Buy, Wonder Bread, Shelter Insurance, Swyft Filings, and Sunbrella.

Outside of his commercial and narrative work, Justin is an avid rock concert photographer, capturing the energy and artistry of bands such as Susto, Band of Horses, Drew Holcomb, The All-American Rejects, Niko Moon, and Mt. Joy.
